About Me
I studied at Czech Technical University in Prague, Czech Republic specializing in air transport and safety management systems (SMS). I also completed two exchange programs in Beijing, China and Salina, US broadening my knowledge of aviation legislation and SMS. While in US, as a member of Women in Aviation, International (WAI), I was honoured to help with the arranging of the very first local Girls in Aviation Day as well as received the WAI Enthusiasm Award scholarship.
After I returned home, I completed two short internships at Slovak and Czech Civil Aviation Authorities, focusing on safety data processing, which were followed by a successful defence of my Master's thesis on Integrated Safety Data Collection and Processing for Maintenance Organisations.
Shortly after, I was given an opportunity to join an EASA Part 145 and Part 21J approved maintenance and design organisation as Safety Manager. In this role, I successfully implemented an ICAO Annex 19-compliant SMS and, few years after, was promoted to Quality & Safety Assurance Director.
In this leadership role, I further developed my technical and managerial skills, acting as a nominated post-holder (Form 4), qualified auditor, occurrence investigator, trainer and team leader. Thanks to my attitude, hard work and strong interpersonal skills, I managed to secure a new EASA Part CAMO approval within a relatively short time, as well as helped develop good relationships with other industries to share best practices and lessons learned in the area of quality and safety.
My journey in aviation has been immensely fulfilling, and I remain dedicated to contributing to the industry's growth and safety.
